The Redevelopment Authority was awarded a $ 201,000 federal grant to begin a streetscape project. This project was bid out in Spring of 2011. The scope of the project includes improvements along North and South Pittsburgh Street.

This contract was awarded to Gulisek Construction and work will begin in July 2011 and continue through November 2011.

Improvements will include sidewalk repairs, new benches, trash cans, planters and trees
